Jennifer Dempsey, Producer

Jennifer Dempsey is the founder of Colorado TINTS, overseeing the staging of numerous plays since the innovative not-for-profit production company launched. She is also the founder of the Salida Circus, now in its seventeenth year of operation.


Jennifer is the creator, author, and actor featured in Something Great. Something Great chronicl

Jennifer Dempsey is the founder of Colorado TINTS, overseeing the staging of numerous plays since the innovative not-for-profit production company launched. She is also the founder of the Salida Circus, now in its seventeenth year of operation.


Jennifer is the creator, author, and actor featured in Something Great. Something Great chronicles her life in Northern Ireland and in the Belfast Circus during the Time of Troubles. The play has been performed in a number venues, including off-Broadway at Theatre Row in New York City. The play has also been performed by Jennifer in Belfast in 2023.


In her role at Colorado TINTS, Jennifer has overseen the creation and premiere of several new plays that include A Destination of My Own: Life Story of Richard Durham, White Bear Woman: Life Story of Lori Piestewa, Mother! Life Story of Mother Jones, and I'm Harvey Milk. 

Greg West, Director

Greg West, the director of I'm Harvey Milk, has an extensive background in theatre. He was the founder and served as the artistic director of Stage Left Theatre Company for 10 years. 

More recently, Greg has starred in the one-actor play I Am My Own Wife. He has also directed Something Great, which has been staged in Colorado, at Theatre

More recently, Greg has starred in the one-actor play I Am My Own Wife. He has also directed Something Great, which has been staged in Colorado, at Theatre Row, an off-Broadway venue in New York City, and in Belfast, Northern Ireland.


Greg has been a cast member in many stage plays, including Superior Donuts, Much Ado About Nothing, The Boys Next Door, The Odd Couple, On Golden Pond, and Balls. 


In addition to directing and acting, Greg has extensive experience as a theatrical costumer and costume designer. Greg West has a masters in fine arts from the University of Alabama.

A prolific and award-winning playwright, Mike Broemmel is the Resident Playwright for Colorado TINTS, the theatrical production company that stages I'm Harvey Milk. Among the plays written by Mike currently in production are Stand Still & Look Stupid: Life Story of Hedy Lamarr, The Wind Is Us: The Death that Killed Capote, Witness: Story

In 2024, a series of four plays by Mike Broemmel will be staged at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The retrospective of plays is supported by Denver Arts & Venues through the ARPA Cultural Partner Activation Program. In addition, in the summer of 2024, Mike's play The Bonfils Girl was selected to reopen the iconic, historic Elitch Theatre, after the nation's first summer stock theatre had been closed for 33 years. 


In addition to his work as a playwright, Mike Broemmel is a novelist and writer of short fiction. His most recent novel, The Baptism, is slated for release in 2025. Mike is a legislative and public policy consultant on school safety and security.


Before embarking on a career as a writer, Mike was involved in the political arena, including running for office himself and serving on the White House Staff in the Office of Media Relations as well as in the Office of the First Lady.
